Notable Norwegian-Americans
From time to time, one of the Nearby Norwegians comes across a Norwegian or Norwegian-American who piques our interest. We just have to dig a little bit more, to uncover these remarkable ancestors.
The challenge comes when you want to tell everyone you come across about this individual. You 'want the world to know' who they were and the contributions they have made. That could be
- memorable authors of literature, newspaper articles, unpublished works, etc.
- workers for justice and/or suffrage
- those who have attained notable recognition within their field of study; i.e. medical, religion, politics, art, history, language, etc.
- persons who were a 'big fish' in a 'small pond' during their lifetime
- characters who were known by our Norwegian-American ancestors
This page will take you to blog posts about these individuals. Posts that contain just enough information to 'wet your appetite' for more. The blogger may be working on a extended profile of the person, but wants to share what they have learned thus far, about this protagonist.
